Seeking a full-time bookkeeper/administrative assistant

Morris County Prevention is Key Inc. (MCPIK), a Non-profit, substance abuse prevention and recovery support agency, is seeking a full-time bookkeeper/administrative assistant. The position requires proficiency in QuickBooks.  Experience with Non-Profit accounting is a plus as well as experience with the State of NJ Department of Health, Division of Mental Health and Addictions Services Contract Information Management System.  MCPIK has diversified funding from Federal, State and Local agencies as well as foundations, donations and fees for service. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with the following:

  • A/R-Posting all deposits
  • A/P-posting all payable from vendors
  • Processing expense reports
  • Processing payroll
  • Making adjusting journal entries
  • Reconcile monthly credit cards and bank statements
  • Provide monthly budget vs. actual reports for grant tracking purposes
  • MS Excel
  • MS Word

Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience and an Associate Degree in Accounting.
