Position Announcement

The Intoxicated Driving Resource Center Program of Morris and Warren County is seeking to fill the following position

 

Position Title:  IDRC Admin                                                    Salary Range:   $15 – 18/hr

Schedule:  Part Time: 3-4 days per week as needed            Reports To:  Director of Addiction Services

 

General Summary:

Working independently, the position of IDRC Administrator is responsible for all aspects of the ‘behind the scenes’ functions of the IDRC. This includes, but is not limited to; heavy client phone contact, maintenance of the various IDRC databases, creating all necessary paperwork for classes, processing 48 hour client paperwork, handling daily mail, communicating with courts, and maintaining all internal client records. Participates as an essential member of a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Job Functions:

Day to day operations of the IDRC for Morris and Warren counties including but not limited to:

  • Timely client contact; scheduling, rescheduling and troubleshooting individual issues
  • Maintaining current client database, updating and correcting information which each client interaction Input data into NJSAMS, DUITS, NJCAIR and the IDRC program database
  • Create, copy and follow paperwork; issue warning letters and reschedule letters to clients, issue non-compliance and compliance letters to the arresting courts and IDP
  • Download and build folders for scheduled clients, including reviewing drivers’ abstracts
  • Managing office and class supplies including class handouts and Now You Know parent folders
  • Monitoring on appeal clients
  • Building folders for 48 Hour clients to be monitored
  • Troubleshoot client issues with the various arresting courts
  • Creating yearly calendar of class dates to be approved by IDP
  • Attends group/team meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, or Director of Addiction Services

Qualifications:

  • Must be culturally responsive to the service population
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills, able to communicate effectively and professionally with clients
  • Computer proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, NJSAMS, and internal agency systems
  • Able to work independently, addressing any issues when they arise
  • Experience working with range of clientele from MICA and homeless populations, DUI offenders and adolescents
  • High degree of discretion and understanding of the rules of confidentiality
  • Ability to do filing, data entry, photocopying and general clerical skills
  • Report writing, client contact, record keeping.
